Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were superbly furnished and clean, but the extra charges for amenities like Wi-Fi and room service were a downside compared to other similar hotels. The service was friendly and professional, quickly resolving any issues that arose during our stay. The location was very convenient, close to key areas in Auckland, yet there was a fee for parking in a nearby Wilson Car Park. The dining experience ranged from average to below average, with the highlight being authentic Italian pizza. Overall, a comfortable stay with opportunities for improvement in certain areas.
The hotel had a good size room with a comfortable king-size bed, but it was disappointing due to leaking plumbing causing very wet carpet. The staff were excellent and friendly, although we were directed to the wrong railway station in the rain at 6.30 am when we wanted to extend our stay. The location was almost perfect for the Spark Arena event, offering great views of the city skyline from the balcony. The dining experience was all we needed but limited, with food sometimes undercooked and running out quickly. However, the yummy Pork Belly was a highlight.
The hotel's location was great for central Auckland, allowing us to walk easily around and being very close to the Vector Arena. The rooms were perfect for our group, and the balcony was a plus too. However, they were in need of updating, with peeling wallpaper and a leaking shower area. The service was excellent in responding to our needs, though there was a lack of knowledge about the city. The dining experience was just okay. The hotel's facilities were quite good overall.
My stay at the hotel was quite satisfying. The rooms were cozy and clean, though a bit small, and I had to request an extra towel for our party of three. We were pleasantly surprised with 2 complimentary drinks despite the increase in price since booking.
The hotel's rooms were disappointing, with rips in the carpet and being very small, more suitable for short stays. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, but there was a mix-up with room availability when trying to extend. The location was great for our needs, being quiet and close to the CBD, but a bit distant for some. The dining experience met expectations with early breakfast availability. Overall, the hotel offers value for money but lacks optimal room size and service consistency.
The hotel had comfortable and quiet rooms, albeit a bit dated, but still offering a good night's sleep. However, there was a discrepancy in room pricing which was somewhat disappointing. The service was commendable with staff going out of their way to assist, although there were minor issues with the dining experience. The location was convenient, especially for those attending concerts, and the value for money was perceived as good.
